LOGLINE: District 9 meets 21 Days Later. The plot takes place in a city that is in total chaos due to an outbreak of a strange disease. We follow the protagonist, a young girl who is bit by a zombie early in the movie, she is trying desperately to find a way to stop the disease from transforming her into a zombie. The story depicts first person view of a desperate human being when faced with death and the fear of transmuting into the living dead.

ACT 1: It starts with our nameless character being bitten by a zombie while getting into a car accident with a reckless driver who was running away from the city. She’s knocked unconscious. Slowly coming to, she sees people slowly walking to her car. Thinking that they are coming to her aid, she screams for help. A man breaks the glass of the car window, drags her out and bites her; she kicks her way out of the bite. Seeing that the people around her are trying to eat her, she tries to run away until she sees a military soldier and passes out at his feet.

ACT2: She wakes up in a military’s ICU base and she doesn’t know what’s going on. The scientists are taking to the commander: “She was bit; we have to destroy the subject before she spreads the disease outside the city.” Before she knows what is happening, a couple of soldiers grab her and take her to the back to kill her. What they didn’t know is that they lead the zombies into the base and with the distraction of the undead, she got away.

ACT3: She hides in a badmen apartment building where she finds that one of the scientists and the military soldier who saved her are still alive. She joins up with them when the scientist said that he knows that there’s a cure. They try to see if there’s a way of getting out, but the city is guarded by the military which was given order to shoot anything in site. As time goes on, we see the protagonist turning into a zombie (her skin is warping, her face is starting to peel away and one of her eyes is turning blood red). The scientist knows that she doesn’t have much time so they plan to hit one of the military bases that has the cure.  In the mean time, the military soldier is falling in love with her and she thinks he’s pretty tasty himself. She’s becoming more interested in eating him.

ACT 4: They sneak into the medical base to find out that the scientist was lying and that their was no cure to the disease. He did this so that him and the soldier can survive. Angry about the betrayed of the scientist, the transitioning zombie destroys the medical center. She kills the scientist and the soldier pleads for her to stop, but it is too late… she has turned into a zombie. Now a soulless zombie, she runs towards him. He has nothing to protect himself from her so he runs outside the center to see that the military soldiers were ready to attack. He ducks for cover and watches in horror as the woman he loved is slaughtered by the bullets. The story ends with the soldier walking up to the blood-covered corpse, suddenly noticing she is wearing an engagement ring with the initials “S.M. loves T.E.,” with vexation he grabs the ring and walks away.
